Welcome to Capital Mining - ASX Code "CMY"

 

Capital Mining Limited (ACN 104 551 171) listed in March 2007 and is engaged in exploration for deposits of gold, base metals, platinum, nickel, uranium and other rare metals in south eastern Australia. The Company is Canberra based and has a number of project areas in highly prospective terrain in New South Wales and South Australia.

Capital has a well documented track record of value adding through exploration success and has drilled up resources of gold, copper, zinc, silver, lead, zirconium, niobium, yttrium and thorium (a superior nuclear fuel) in several of its tenements.

The Company is concentrating its efforts on exploration of gold and gold-base metal prospects with considerable discovery potential in the Southern Divide Region of New South Wales and is also investigating a large porphyry-style mineral system in the Central West where the target is a gold-copper-molybdenum deposit analogous to the world class ore bodies at Cadia-Ridgeway, Northparkes and Cowal. Capital is also in the search for uranium in South Australia and gold,platinum and nickel in Far Northwest NSW.

16 May 2011: The Directors of CMY are pleased to advise that the Company has now received the second tranche (T2) of the company transforming capital raising originally announced to the ASX on 6 September 2010 and in later updates. The transaction will provide CMY with overall funding of A$3.2M over an 15 month period through a strategic partnership with CMI that will advance the Company’s existing projects, introduce a new source of exploration and create opportunities including the introduction of a range of technical and commercial skills to the Company.
